About Us

Our Care Director is a Clinical Nurse currently working in the Intensive Care Unit at a major Adelaide hospital. Having moved from overseas, she has built her family and professional life in Adelaide and feels privileged to belong to and be shaped by two cultures.

She began her career by caring in aged care, supporting people with diverse chronic health conditions, disability and complex support needs. Connecting with people has always come naturally to her. She values honest communication, trust, and taking the time to understand what matters most to each person. She learnt that what people want most is not complicated, they want to feel listened to, respected, and supported in a way that suits their individual needs, preferences, and cultural background. Too often, care can become rushed or task-focused, and the person themselves can be overlooked.

These early experiences strongly influenced her person-centred approach that respects each individual’s goals, choices, and abilities. Driven by a passion for excellence and safety, she envisioned a care service built on compassion, kindness, equity, inclusion, respect, and dignity.

Velocity Care was created as a reflection of these values and a commitment to providing support that truly puts people first. We believe that care is about more than managing a condition. It is about seeing the whole person and supporting their wellbeing in meaningful and dignified ways.
